The Government announced its ambition to form local Digital Skills Partnerships (DSP) across the country in the 2017 UK Digital Strategy. The purpose of local DSP is to ‘increase collaboration between public, private and charity sector organisations and help address local digital skills needs in more targeted and innovative ways.’
Lancashire was selected by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) as one of two initial pilot areas to develop the first local DSPs and the Lancashire DSP was launched in April 2018.
As part of the pilot, the LEP’s Skills and Employment Hub team has a 12 month vacancy for a full-time Digital Skills Partnership Co-ordinator to support the development and coordination of the Lancashire DSP. For further information and to apply for the vacancy please visit Lancashire County Council’s website.
