Project overview
Lancashire was one of only eight areas to have both a Strategic Development Fund Pilot AND a Local Skills Improvement Fund Pathfinder during the initial phase of the Programme and we were pleased to work closely with our Chambers of Commerce to ensure their successful delivery. The Lancashire Colleges delivered 10 collaborative projects during the Pilot Programme, working closely with local business to design, develop and deliver new programmes to meet the skills needs arising from the drive towards a more sustainable economy.
